A key advantage of the electronic medical record is its integrated video feature, which enables emergency staff to consult directly with hospital specialists from the ambulance when specialized expertise is needed.

Not only can the specialists see the situation firsthand, but they also have access to all the patient's vital signs and data being continuously recorded in the electronic medical record. This allows specialists to quickly assess the patient's condition and make more informed decisions.
