Bliksund strengthens its Board of Directors with the addition of Kim Sneum Madsen, who now joins as a member. With a solid background combining extensive experience in both emergency response and IT, Kim will play a key role in supporting Bliksund's continued growth and development, especially in the Danish market.
Kim Sneum Madsen has extensive emergency response training and started his career as an officer in the Danish Civil Defence/Emergency Response Corps, where he worked for 12 years with leadership education and training of conscripts.
Kim's commitment also extended to the international level, working for the UN and UNHCR during the war in Bosnia, where he was in charge of building logistical organisations and delivering emergency aid to refugees. He continued his relief work during the Kosovo conflict, this time for the Danish Refugee Council.
After working in emergency services, Kim moved into IT and software. He was the first employee at E-conomic, helping grow the company to 125 employees and expand internationally as COO. Later, as CEO of Umbraco, he helped grow the team from 12 to 150 employees and increased revenue tenfold. Umbraco was sold to Monterro three years ago, after which Kim shifted his focus to board positions, including with Bliksund:

A strong match for growth in Denmark
Kim Sneum Madsen's appointment is a key move in Bliksund's plan to strengthen its presence in the Danish market. The Norwegian company already has three offices and 10 employees in Denmark after acquiring Incendium A/S in 2022. Bliksund has also teamed up with Danish company Systematic to bid on the pre-hospital patient record contract in Denmark.
Kim Sneum Madsen's role on Bliksund's board of directors supports the company's ambition to attract professionals and consolidate its presence in the Danish market.
