The project strengthens Bliksund’s position as a leading provider of digital mission and record solutions to emergency services.

Luxenburg

Bliksund, a European leader in digital tools for emergency services, has been awarded a multi-year tender by Luxembourg’s Corps Grand-Ducal d'Incendie et de Secours (CGDIS - Grand-Ducal fire and Rescue Corps) to deliver their next-generation reporting system for ambulance and fire and rescue missions.

Founded in 2018, the CGDIS is responsible for the coordination of fire and rescue services throughout Luxembourg. It was created to strengthen the coordination of emergency services, standardise decision-making processes, increase the efficiency of emergency operations and better respond to the growing needs of the population. In 2020/2021, the CGDIS moved its operations to the Centre National d'Incendie et de Secours (CNIS).

Bliksund will deliver its EWA solution, an electronic record solution tailored for CGDIS operations, designed to enable the full digital capture and processing of mission-related data. The system will also integrate with both internal CGDIS platforms and external applications, with a particular focus on medical documentation. Bliksund’s solution will integrate with the Corpulse medical device to ensure monitoring and complete capture of vital parameters.

“Bliksund delivered the most compelling and complete response to our tender, demonstrating both technical excellence and a strong understanding of our operational needs,” says Alain Di Genova, Logistics Director at CGDIS “We expect the new system to enhance the efficiency and quality of our operational data management, while ensuring seamless integration with our existing systems and medical platforms. This project is a key step in our ongoing digital transformation.”

Bliksund serves over 3 000 customers across 30 countries, delivering digital tools that provide control, insight, and common situational awareness. Winning the contract in Luxembourg aligns with the company’s strategy for continued global expansion and strengthening the presence in international markets.
