About the job

As Group Financial Controller you will help consolidate a multi-entity structure spanning Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands and Sweden. You will build a controls framework from the ground up and become a key business partner to the CFO.

This is a hands-on role with significant scope to shape. In the near term you will take over day-to-day finance operations from external advisors, own the monthly close and group consolidation, and establish the financial reporting infrastructure that a PE-backed, fast-growing SaaS company requires. Over time you will help build out the finance team and play a central role in the company's continued growth and potential M&A activity.

Your responsibilities:

Financial reporting and close

Own the monthly close across all entities (NO, DK, NL, SE) and produce group management accounts
Lead group consolidation including intercompany eliminations across legal entities
Drive variance analysis versus budget and provide actionable commentary

Accounting and controls

Take over bookkeeping and transactional accounting across all entities
Implement an internal controls framework, approval matrix and expense governance
Own accounts payable, accounts receivable and intercompany transactions
Oversee payroll processing across jurisdictions in collaboration with third party providers
Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure accurate depreciation
Support M&A activity and acquisition integration as needed

Treasury and cash management

Own cash flow forecasting and bank account management across entities
Monitor covenant compliance under the group loan agreement
Manage working capital and flag risks to leadership proactively

Tax, compliance and audit

Prepare VAT filings and corporate tax data across NO, DK and NL in collaboration with third party providers
Draft statutory accounts and coordinate the annual group audit
Ensure full regulatory compliance across all jurisdictions

You profile:

You have five or more years of experience in group finance, financial control or a Big Four background
You have hands-on experience with multi-entity consolidation and statutory reporting
You are comfortable with the full finance stack, from bookkeeping to board reporting
You have worked in or closely with a SaaS or technology company
You thrive in a hands-on environment where you build things from scratch
You have a strong eye for process, controls and automation without losing commercial awareness
Experience with Xledger or a similar ERP is an advantage
You are fluent in English
You are based in or willing to relocate to Oslo
