Bliksund, the European EmergencyTech company delivering software solutions to emergency services across 30+ countries, today announces the permanent appointment of Martin A. Kasseth as Chief Executive Officer.
Kasseth has served as interim CEO since January 2026 and was selected following a thorough recruitment process. The Board concluded that Kasseth was the strongest candidate to lead Bliksund into its next phase of growth, based on his track record and deep knowledge of the company, its customers, and the emergency services domain.
"After a thorough process, the Board concluded that Martin was the strongest candidate to lead Bliksund forward. He combines strategic ambition with a great understanding of what our customers need, and we are pleased to make this appointment permanent," said Thomas Bill Revland, Chairman of Bliksund's Board of Directors.
"I am proud to lead a company whose work genuinely matters - to the emergency service professionals who relies on our software in critical moments. We have built a strong foundation, and I am committed to taking Bliksund to the next level together with an excellent team," said Martin A. Kasseth, CEO of Bliksund.
Kasseth joined Bliksund in 2021 as Director of Business Development and has been instrumental in shaping the company's international growth strategy, including its expansion to 30+ countries and several acquisitions. He took on the role of Chief Product Officer in 2024 before being appointed interim CEO in January 2026.
Prior to Bliksund, he worked at BearingPoint Capital in Oslo, advising technology and software companies. He holds an MSc in Management of Information Systems and Digital Innovation from the London School of Economics and an MA in International Relations from the University of Edinburgh.
Bliksund's ambition is to continue its international growth, building on a strong European footprint and increasing demand for its solutions globally. Emergency services, public safety organisations, and defence are increasingly requiring common situational awareness and the ability to collaborate across agencies - in everyday operations and crisis situations.
